Instructions for Transferring Quiz Questions from One Course to Another

Downloading the Quiz Questions
First, you will need to download the quiz questions to your desktop

1. Open the course from which the questions will be downloaded
2. Click on the Quiz Icon
3. Click on Question Database
4. Select the checkbox next to the questions you wish to download
5. On the right column under Options: Question, click Download questions
6. In the popup window that appears, select Save to Disk
7. Click OK
8. The file is saved by default to your Desktop

Uploading the Quiz Questions
Next, upload the questions to your other class:

1. Open the course to which the questions will be uploaded
2. Click on the Control Panel
3. Click Manage Files
4. On the right column under Options: Folders, click Create Folder
5. Give it an appropriate name such as Quiz, and click Create
6. On the right column under Options: Files, click Upload
7. Click Browse to locate your questions on your desktop
8. Click Open
9. Make sure the correct destination folder is selected and click Upload

Adding Questions to the Question Database
Last, you will need to adding the questions to the Question Database

1. Return to the Homepage and click the Quiz Icon
2. Click Question Database
3. On the right column under Options: Question, click Import questions from file
4. Click Browse and locate your newly created folder
5. Select the question file you wish to import and click Add selected
6. Click Import
7. Preview the questions and click Continue
8. Your questions have now been added to the database and can be added to any quizzes in the course.
