Mission Statement
The mission of
the Winthrop University Galleries is to inform and
enrich the lives of Winthrop students, faculty, and
staff, as well as regional audiences, through the
presentation of exhibitions and educational programs
that celebrate artistic achievement. WUG promotes
academic excellence and human understanding through
visual art and design within the learning environment of
a distinctive public comprehensive university.

The Rutledge
Gallery and the Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Galleries are
located in the historic Rutledge Building and the Edmund
D. Lewandowski Student Gallery is located in McLaurin
Hall on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill,
South Carolina.

and Performing Arts and
the generous support of the Patrons of Winthrop
University Galleries,
The Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Gallery Endowment Fund,
