Winthrop University Common Book Project
Welcome!
Winthrop University's Common
Book Project provides a common intellectual experience for our vibrant learning
community. One of many programs designed to support student success during
the transition to college life, Winthrop's common book has been associated in
research with important social and academic outcomes. In varying ways each
year, the common book also helps us explore our Core Commitments. Incoming
freshmen receive the book at orientation and read it during the summer. Many
others -- faculty, staff, alumni, upper-level students, and local book clubs --
join in the experience.
