2012 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)
As part of the Summer Undergraduate
Research Experience (SURE), Winthrop University students
worked with faculty over the summer on cutting-edge research
projects in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics,
geology, and mathematics. The SURE program included research,
special invited seminar speakers, and collaborative
interactions, ending with a research symposium. Furthermore,
student participants presented their research accomplishments
in a special poster presentation session at the DiGiorgio
Student Center in September.
