Spring Orientation: How To Register
Students
There are two methods to register for one of the Orientation 2010 sessions.
Online registration is preferred.
-
Register online at www.winthrop.edu/MyCheckList for the most up-to-date session information.
After you have successfully registered online, you will receive an email confirmation.
OR
-
Mail the reservation card included in our December mailing. After your
reservation card is received,
students will be sent a confirmation email. Because we do email our
confirmations, please be sure to list an email address that is checked
frequently.
Any change made after your reservation is processed will result in a $10.00 service fee. Students who do not attend their assigned
session without canceling their reservation in advance will also be assessed a $10.00 service fee.
An Orientation fee ($125 for freshmen and $25 for transfer students) will be charged to your account and included in
your fall semester tuition and fee bill. (Please do not mail the fee
payment in advance.) This fee covers materials, programs and services
associated with orientation, advising and registration, as well as
Welcome Week.
Families
After the incoming student registers for one of our Orientation 2010 sessions,
family members wishing to register should visit the Family Orientation website
OR fill out the attached registration card in the Winthrop Orientation
Invitation.
Like the Student Orientation, there will be a fee to cover the cost of
materials, and lunch will be included in this fee. When you register for Family
Orientation a separate fee of $10
per adult and $5 for children under 8 will be charged to the student's account.
This fee is non-refundable.
Family members can register until two weeks prior to the Orientation session
they will be attending. The fee will be charged to the STUDENT ACCOUNT.
Please DO NOT send in checks to the office.
