 The mission of the Department of Social Work is to prepare its BSW graduates to engage in fully competent and ethical generalist social work practice with individuals, families, small groups, organizations and communities, valuing diversity, being fully committed to the pursuit of social justice and having the tools to fully engage in the coming age of information technology.
