Brittany Pack, Charleston Southern University VISTA
Brittany is a first year VISTA serving at Charleston Southern University, located in Charleston, SC. Brittany graduated from Converse College in 2012, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History. Brittany has previously volunteered with the Spartanburg Regional History Museum, Tell Them SC and Converse College's Bonner Leader Program where she worked with non-profits in the Spartanburg area. She hopes to become a museum curator one dayp>

Felisha Clark, Coastal Carolina University VISTA
Felisha Clark is a first year VISTA serving at Coastal Carolina University, located in Conway, SC. Felisha graduated from Indiana University in 2012, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Leadership. Felisha is very passionate about human rights, particularly women’s rights, and she hopes to pursue a career in politics advocating for equal treatment of all people and eventually becoming a Congresswoman.



Nicole Cozzi, Coastal Carolina University VISTA
Nicole Cozzi is a first year VISTA serving at Coastal Carolina University, located in Conway, SC. Nicole graduated from Lock Haven University in 2010, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in International Studies. Nicole first discovered AmeriCorps when she was recruited to be an AmeriCorps member for Lock Haven University's Institute for International Studies where she was responsible for coordinating multicultural events for the community. She hopes to continue her education by getting her Masters in Higher Education Administration.

Lauren Spinella, College of Charleston VISTA
Lauren Spinella is a first year VISTA serving at the College of Charleston located in Charleston, SC. Lauren graduated from The State University of New York at New Paltz where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, with her concentration in Human Services and minor in Women’s Studies. Lauren has previously volunteered with non-profits working with substance abuse, domestic violence, and adolescent homelessness. She hopes to continue working in the field of human services, eventually earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work and focusing her work in gender violence.


Umeko Favor, The Citadel VISTA
Umeko is a first year VISTA serving with South Carolina Campus Compact at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Umeko graduated from Charleston Southern University this past May with a Bachelor of Science in Social Science. Umeko has volunteered with Habitat for Humanities, Life Care of Charleston, Miracle league and WINGS for kids. She hopes to attend graduate school so she can obtain her Master’s in Social work and hopefully work with women and children. Also, since she has a cosmetologist license she would like to open a hair salon later on in the future.


Seth Madison, The Citadel VISTA
Seth Madison is a first year VISTA serving at The Citadel, located in Charleston, SC. Seth graduated from Lyon College in 2012, where he received his Bachelor's in psychology. Seth has previously volunteered with Ozark Foothills Literacy Project, Family Violence Prevention, Inc., and The APPLE Project Upward Bound, in Batesville, Arkansas. After serving in AmeriCorps, he intends to complete a term of service in Africa for Peace Corps. Afterwards, he hopes to attend graduate school for clinical psychology and work in the nonprofit sector, specializing in assisting adolescents from disadvantaged and abusive households.


Emily Herrmann, The University of South Carolina-- Beaufort VISTA
Emily Herrmann is a first year VISTA serving at the University of South Carolina Beaufort- Hilton Head Gateway Campus located in Bluffton, SC. Emily graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2012, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Emily has previously volunteered with Prevent Child Abuse America, Girl Scouts of America, Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati, and Relay for Life. Emily hopes to have a fantastic first year as an AmeriCorps VISTA, with hopes to return! As well as one day earn her Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Administration to continue working with Non-Profit agencies.
