Planning a Meeting at Winthrop University
 

The Shack

With a comfortable lodge setting overlooking Winthrop Lake, the Shack is ideal for staff retreats and team building exercises. Ample on-site parking is an added advantage. Additional space is available on the back patio.

Capacity – approximately 80 guests
Rental fee – $300

Macfeat House

Macfeat House offers several options for meeting and dining. A small conference room for 10, a dining room for 24, and a large conference room for 24. A comfortable and professional space to spend the day for training, retreats, or special events.

Capacity – flexible, from 24 - 75
Rental fee – $250/day

Tillman Training Lab

A high-tech facility within Winthrop’s historic administrative building, Tillman Hall, the training lab was designed and created by Facilities and Information Technology staff to provide an ideal training environment for Winthrop’s faculty and staff. Now available to the general public.

Capacity – approximately 18 guests
Rental fee – $175/day

Whitton Auditorium

Whitton Auditorium is a state-of-the-art facility that features split-screen presentation capability. Located in the Carroll Hall College of Business Building, Whitton Auditorium is suitable for seminars, training sessions, and multimedia presentations.

Capacity – 220 seats
Rental Fee – $300/6 hours

Withers/W.T.S. Fourth Floor Conference Room

Located in one of Winthrop’s most historic buildings and within the Richard W. Riley College of Education, the Withers/W.T.S. Fourth Floor Conference Room is a first choice for local education groups who use the facility for meetings, seminars, etc.

Capacity – approximately 50 - 100 guests
Rental fee – $200
