The first semester a student’s cumulative grade-point average falls below a 2.00, he or she is placed on academic probation.
A student on academic probation whose semester grade-point average is 2.00 or higher is not suspended at the close of that semester even though the cumulative grade-point average remains below 2.00. The student may continue enrollment on academic probation.
The student is removed from academic probation at the close of a semester in which the cumulative grade-point
average meets or exceeds 2.00.
Undergraduate special students are not subject to academic eligibility while in this classification.

Records and Registration monitors student gpa’s at the end of each semester.
