Reduction in Force
It is the intent of this policy to outline the manner in which covered employees are released in an equitable manner should a reduction in force become necessary. A reduction in force may require the separation, involuntary demotion, reassignment or reduction in work hours of covered employees. When a reduction in the number of positions at Winthrop University is made necessary by financial exigency or other causes, the determination of those positions that will be directly affected will be made in accordance with the procedures prescribed herein.Please see full policy.
