Dual Employment
Dual employment is defined as the outside employment of a permanent Winthrop employee who will perform for and be paid by another state agency or Winthrop University for services which are separate from, and in addition to, his/her regular duties with Winthrop. The State Budget and Control Board has established guidelines regulating dual employment, which Winthrop University employees must follow.Please see the full policy for the established guidelines and additional information.
The Winthrop University Dual Employment form must be completed and approved before the dual employment work is performed. Please see the Helpful Information Regarding Dual Employment document for additional paperwork required.
