Employees who are classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) are required to record hours worked in the electronic timesheet on Wingspan. As hours are entered into the timesheet, hours worked in excess of 40 in an official workweek are accounted for as compensatory time at a rate of one and one-half time the number of hours worked in excess of 40 during the workweek. Non-exempt employees may view compensatory time balances on Wingspan.
