Congratulations
to Dr. Merry Sleigh
on winning the 2010-11 Psi
Chi/Florence L. Denmark Faculty Advisor Award. This prestigious
national award is given to one Psi Chi advisor each year. Dr. Sleigh
will receive the award at the American Psychological Association
convention in August. This follows Dr. Sleigh being named the 2011
Southeastern Psychological Association (SEPA) Mentor of the year.

The Winthrop University Department of
Psychology is committed to helping all students achieve their goals
whether it be pursuing graduate or professional school, working in
health or human services, using psychology as a base for a career in
business, law, medicine, or other professional field, or simply
attaining a well-rounded liberal arts education. We offer an
