Graduate Program - Master of Science in Human Nutrition

Program mission The mission of the Master of Science program in human nutrition is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for upper level positions in human nutrition and prepare students for doctoral study. 

Program Goals
1. Human Nutrition graduate faculty members will develop a curriculum of advanced study in human nutrition for students enrolled in the Master of Science in Human Nutrition program.
2. The M.S. in human nutrition curriculum will provide opportunities for graduate students to refine and expand their undergraduate knowledge and skills related to human nutrition research.


Student Learning Outcomes

1. Degree candidates for the M.S. in human nutrition will demonstrate the ability to evaluate human nutrition research study results.

2. Degree candidates for the M.S. in human nutrition will demonstrate the ability to formulate and test human nutrition research questions.
