Partnership Conference for Educational Renewal - Main Conference (June 11)

Location: DiGiorgio Campus Center, Winthrop University (2020 Alumni Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29733)
Registration: At least 3 representatives from each Professional Development and Partner School (one of which should be a school administrator) are expected to attend the Conference. Space is available for several more, so please encourage others from your site to attend. Each participant should visit the Conference Registration page to complete the registration form.
Travel: Take Exit 82-B and follow directional signs toward Rock Hill (Cherry Road). Travel approximately 3.5 miles, turn left onto Alumni Drive, and turn left onto Founder's Lane. Designated conference parking will be on your right in the Founder's Lot. The DiGiorgio Campus Center may be reached by either walking away from Founder's Lane across the Campus Green to the back entrance of the DiGiorgio Campus Center or following the sidewalk parallel to Alumni Drive away from Founder's Lane and taking the stairs on your left to the breezeway between the DiGiorgio Campus Center and the West Center (DiGiorgio Campus Center will be on the left, and the first door on the left leads directly to the Richardson Ballroom).

Pre-Conference Workshops: Co-Teaching 101 and Technology Crawl (June 10)
Co-Teaching 101 explores various models of co-teaching and application to classroom practice and Winthrop field/internship experiences. Strategies for co-teaching will be modeled and participants will view videos of other co-teachers in action. This training is designed for university supervisors, mentor teachers, and school/university administrators. Participants registering must be present for Part I and Part II (see schedule below) to receive credit.
The Technology Crawl will have participants wandering the halls of Withers at their own pace exploring various technology tools in action. With opportunities for hands-on exploration and discussions with experts, this session is appropriate for all Partnership Network teachers, faculty, administrators and teacher candidates.
