Welcome to My Money Matters, a webpage created as part of Winthrop's initiative to develop a financial education program for all of our students. This webpage, as well as other resources, is brought to you in part by a grant from the Council of Graduate Schools and TIAA-CREF.

We invite you to spend a little time interacting with this site, regardless of your financial challenges. Here you can learn much more about how to build a good budget and handle your cash flow, manage your debt, prepare your taxes, understand your insurance, and invest for your future. Each of these five pillars is a critical component in maintaining and building a healthy financial plan. On this webpage you will find not only useful commentary on a myriad of topics within these pillars, but you can watch several helpful video tutorials outlining some of the most important financial concepts.

In addition, this is intended to be a user-drive site, so be sure to let us know other topics or videos you'd like to see. Go ahead and get started! Doing so, you'll take an important step in your own progress toward a healthy financial future.
