Winthrop University Brass Ensembles
Dr. Martin Hughes, Director

Winthrop University Brass Ensemble program is a performance-oriented rehearsal class that explores the diverse literature for various size brass ensembles. It focuses on the self-conducted small ensemble, especially the standard brass quintet. Participants learn to assume the duties of interpretation and expressive performance in rehearsal and public concerts. Course requirements often include performances on and off campus.
