Grants Competition for Programs & Events and Professional Development

The Global Learning Initiative Engagement Committee and Curriculum Committee are pleased to announce a grants competition for programs & events and professional development to be held during the 2012-2013 academic year. The purpose of the programs & events grants is to provide support for departments, programs, and student clubs and organizations who wish to sponsor Global Learning Initiative (GLI) events, programs, and activities. The purpose of professional development grants is to provide support for faculty and staff to engage in professional development activities that will enable them to add global learning components to their courses.

Interested applicants must submit a completed application form, budget, and budget justification to the Global Learning Initiative, at gli@winthrop.edu by the deadlines listed on the application. Individuals, departments, and programs may apply for GLI support for multiple programs in the same academic year.
