The Winthrop Writing
Project is committed to helping teachers find better teaching
practices for writing by helping teachers become better writers
themselves. This website will provide basic information for all of
WWP's teacher programs.
Along with professional development opportunities, the Winthrop
Writing Project conducts an invitational summer institute for
teachers who are interesting in improving writing in their
classrooms. The best part is that you do not have to be an English
teacher to apply! We encourage teachers from across grade and
curriculum areas to participate! Please check out the course
