If you need to consult the policies
or calendars for your section of CRTW 201, please consult your instructor's
online course materials.
Almost all sections
of CRTW 201 will use
www.turnitin.com to
help you demonstrate that you have documented borrowed information correctly in
your work. Your instructor will give you your class ID# and password for
wwwturnitin.com. If you need help using the program, the library has a useful
overview at
http://www.winthrop.edu/dacus/About/studentTIIinstructions.htm
and there are user tutorials under the "training materials" button on the
turnitin.com website.
All Winthrop students
are encouraged to take advantage of the services of the Winthrop Writing Center
in 242 Bancroft for free peer consultations about improving their writing. The
Center is located in 242 Bancroft Hall (323-2138), so please call for an
appointment! Center hours can be found by checking the Center website at
http://www.winthrop.edu/wcenter.
