Did You Know? |
• Three ways to visit campus. Did you know the admissions office offers three unique campus visit experiences? An admissions presentation, student-guided tour of campus and meeting with an admissions counselor are all part of the daily campus visit experience offered weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The admissions office also offers Preview Days, which are held on Saturdays. Students tour campus, meet representatives from all academic areas and student life and participate in small group discussions. Preview Day is scheduled for April 4. The newest visit experience is First Look Friday, which provides an opportunity to spend a day in the life of a Winthrop student. Students tour campus, have lunch in Thomson Café and participate in small group discussions and a unique classroom experience tailored to the student’s academic area of interest. The next First Look Friday visit is scheduled for April 10. To schedule a visit, call 1-800-WINTHROP or make an appointment online. • Connect to Winthrop. Follow Winthrop Admissions on Twitter and on Facebook. • Submit financial aid information. The time of year has arrived for prospective students to begin submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Winthrop recommends having the information filed as quickly as possible. The FAFSA allows students to apply for financial aid packages for the 2009-10 school year. All students who would like to be considered for grants, work-study and loans must complete the FAFSA. • Apply now. Applications for fall 2009 are still being accepted. Apply for admission online now. |
