First Look Fridays provide a glimpse into the life of a Winthrop student.
Here counselor Josh Bistromowitz '04 talks with a visiting family. First
Look Fridays include a tour of campus, lunch in the cafeteria and a class. Visitors also have opportunities to speak with current students, faculty, and their personal admissions counselor to learn more about the Winthrop experience. The next
First Look Friday is set for Feb. 13. • Submit Financial Aid Information. The time of year has arrived for prospective students to begin submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Winthrop recommends having the information filed by March 1.The FAFSA allows students to apply for financial aid packages for the 2009-10 school year. All students who would like to be considered for grants, work-study and loans must complete the FAFSA. • Schedule a Campus Tour in February and March.
The weekday campus visit experience provides an opportunity to
interact with students, faculty and staff. Weekday campus visits
include a student-guided tour and an information session with an
admissions counselor. A classroom visit or meetings with a professor
or coach may be scheduled with advanced notice. The experience begins at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each weekday.
