Jurée Capers, a senior from Varnville, S.C., volunteers as a Winthrop Ambassador and works in the Office of Admissions as a counselor’s assistant. She plans on earning her Ph.D., possibly at Texas A&M, after graduating in December. Learn more about Capers and other successful students.

• Chat with an Admissions Counselor. Live chats with an admissions counselor are available Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Counselors are available to answer questions about admissions, financial aid and student life. • Preview Day. On Nov. 8, Winthrop representatives will give prospective students an in-depth view of academic and campus life. Faculty, staff and students will be available to provide information about the university and answer questions. A tour of the campus also will be available.
