During a Feb. 8 installation ceremony at McBryde Hall, the five inductees into the Athletic Hall of Fame praised their Winthrop experience and each other’s achievements. They were, front row from left, Frankie Griffin `79, a former soccer player and softball coach; Maeberta Bobb `63, a former coach and administrator; and Rick Riese `81, a men’s basketball player; Tom Hickman, athletic director; David Steffler `99, a baseball pitcher; and Kevin Pendley `98, a golfer.
