Cece Sutton `93, right, talked with Janet Langham-Bishop, an Executive MBA student, after giving the M.B.A. lecture on Oct. 10 at Barnes Recital Hall. Sutton, executive vice president of Wachovia and head of its retail and small business banking, talked about the challenges and lessons learned from dozens of the Charlotte-based bank’s mergers. Sutton was recently named to Fortune magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business.”
