Students learning about the financial markets took a six-day trip to New York and Washington, D.C., in May to visit the pulse of the nation’s economy. The group of 24, led by Dianne Hockett, director of the Small Business Development Center, and Charles Alvis, associate professor of accounting, toured the New York Stock Exchange, among other sites.
