At the May 5 commencement, President Anthony DiGiorgio presented the Tillman Award to Amber Michelle Smith of Fort Mill, left, and Kimberly Paige Satcher of Graniteville. The two education majors participated in the Teaching Fellows program while at Winthrop. The Tillman Award is the university’s highest academic honor.
