Seventeen students traveled to Charleston, S.C., over the March 9-12 spring break where they assisted with the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home. The group, including senior Sonya Mellerson, also bagged more than 9,275 pounds of restaurant oyster shells that will be used as an artificial oyster reef.
