Library Instruction

The instruction program is designed to acquaint patrons with the physical layout of the library and to introduce them to the basic facilities, services, and resources available to meet their information needs.

The library faculty are also available to present lectures and demonstrations on the use of subject specific resources to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and other patrons. To arrange a presentation, please contact the Coordinator of Library Instruction at least one week prior to the proposed date of the class. Any student needing library instruction should contact the Reference Desk at 803-323-4501, e-mail, or IM/Chat .
