Hours of Operation The department is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours may vary. As a security measure, a Winthrop University identification card or a scheduled appointment will be required to access the Archives collection. Researchers must call write or email before coming to the library so that we may better serve you. Contact Archives: (803) 323-2334.
Building Access A Winthrop University identification card or a scheduled appointment will be required to access the Archives collection. A card swipe is located by the main entrance. Visitors with a campus ID card should use the call box located next to the card swipe to gain access to the building.
