Description: A 24-minute showing of a documentary made by honors students at the University of Central Florida in 2012 on the Johns Committee. Better known as the Florida Legislative Investigation Committee, which in the late 1950s and early 1960s went after gay and lesbian school teachers, university professors and college students. Special guest speaker will be Dr. Carol A. Marchel to speak about contemporary LGBT issues in education. Discussion will follow afterwards.
